The SoundAdvisor™ Audiometer Calibration System AudCal is a field-ready solution for fast, accurate, and comprehensive audiometer calibration, compliant with ANSI S3.6 and IEC 60645-1 standards. The system combines the precision of the SoundAdvisor Model 831C Sound Level Meter with the versatility and accessibility of G4 LD Utility Software, enabling seamless operation from a tablet without the need for a PC. Artificial ear couplers and mastoids simplify interfacing with a wide variety of audiometer transducers, ensuring consistent and repeatable measurements in any environment.
Functioning as a complete audiometer calibration kit, AudCal integrates a precision sound level meter, artificial ear couplers, and automated software for fast audiometer verification and reporting. Users can access the meter on a PC or mobile device app to set up and run the full suite of tests, including frequency response, hearing level, FM, and pulse, quickly and accurately. Narrowband FFT and real-time 1/3-octave analysis make advanced measurements such as total harmonic distortion (THD) and ambient noise assessment simple and reliable, all while meeting ANSI and IEC calibration requirements.
After completing the test suite, generate detailed test reports and calibration certificates that document pass/fail results and all measurement parameters. Reports can be exported as PDFs for printing, sharing, or long-term archiving, providing a fully traceable record of audiometer performance in compliance with international standards.

With real-time fractional-octave filters, FM and pulse capabilities, and powerful FFT and narrowband analysis, including total harmonic distortion, 831C-AUD creates a fully functional audiometer measurement system.
G4 LD Software allows you to set up customers and their equipment, run a suite of tests, and generate reports. The software is smart – when you start a new test at an existing location, the software will configure your setup to match what you’ve done before.
Each test displays real-time results on screen, with measured data and standards-defined limits. Retest any failed frequency, level, or function individually during testing. Results are used to generate reports that can be customized with company logo and technician signatures.
After completing the full suite of tests, the AudCal portable audiometer calibration system automatically generates detailed calibration reports and certificates, providing a complete record of audiometer performance. Each report documents pass/fail results, measured parameters, and compliance with ANSI S3.6 and IEC 60645-1 standards, ensuring that your calibration process meets international requirements for clinical and occupational audiometry.
You can generate a report with all data exactly as it appears on the test. Upload a company logo to appear on the report, and create an electronic signature that automatically populates the certificate’s signature line. This makes digital sharing immediate and seamless, while maintaining professional and traceable documentation.
